There are many academic programs at Syracuse University that offer professional certification in disability-related fields. Students enrolled in affiliated academic programs are strongly encouraged to acquire at least general knowledge of one or more areas of clinical or instructional practice. For example, the School of Education offers courses and programs in inclusive and special education and rehabilitation. The College of Arts and Sciences offers courses and programs in communication sciences and disorders.
