The Center brings together various programs and faculty of the University to explore the dimensions of disability in society. Together with the Co-Directors, Professor Steve Taylor, Director of the Center on Human Policy, and Professor Arlene Kanter, Director of the Disability Law and Policy Program, the Center is governed by a Steering Committee. This Steering Committee includes faculty members Deans Douglas Biklen (Education) and Diane Lyden Murphy (College of Human Ecology) and Professors Robert Bogdan (Sociology), Beth Ferri (Education), Nancy Mudrick (Social Work), Michael Schwartz (Law). In addition to the Steering Committee, the Center will collaborate with faculty members and programs across the SU campus.
